Yeinks = Why E inks?
What are we about? Well, the hint is in the name. We are passionate about e-ink technology and see it as an important part of our future. Whether it’s e-ink tablets, eReaders, or wearables, e-ink has a place in the future, and we’re here to cover it.
Our love for e-ink began with the Pebble Smartwatch. This iconic smartwatch, which is thankfully being revived, showed us what e-ink was capable of—simplicity, efficiency, and incredible battery life. While we’re passionate about technology, we also recognize that too much of it can be overwhelming. E-ink helps alleviate this with reduced eye strain and a more minimalist approach to technology, all while maintaining essential functionality.
We are under no illusion that technology improves our lives, but finding the right balance between innovation and the endless distractions it can bring is crucial.

Out of a passion for E Ink technology we thought about building an ‘E Ink’ home on the web where you can visit and learn more about the much loved E ink devices. Its a passionate community and one which we want to be part of.
We wanted to have our own voice in the community and more importantly be that first port of call for those looking at getting their first devices and to learn more. We also want to connect those new comers to other resources and content makers across the web.
The Beginning
Working off a proof of concept we began building the site with the aim of an early 2025 launch.
